Long walks are good for the soul, or at least I’ve found.<\/p>\n
The most at peace I have ever been was during Basic Training and the long road marches with fifty pounds of equipment on my back, a heavy kevlar helmet on my head, the hot sun and hard earth below and an M16A2 in my hands. <\/p>\n
Walking 10km in the South Carolina countryside gives you plenty of time to just think.<\/p>\n
