Powerpuff Girls Z\" align=\"right\" style=\"margin: 4px 0 4px 25px;\" \/>The <a href=\"http:\/\/www.animenewsnetwork.com\/\">Anime News Network<\/a> website is reporting that Toei Animation and Aniplex are joining forces with Cartoon Network to produce a japanese anime series based on the popular Powerpuff Girls cartoon produced in the US.<\/p>\n<p>The announcement for the new series, entitled &#8220;Demashitaa! Powerpuff Girls Z&#8221;, was made at this year&#8217;s Tokyo Animation Fair, where a <a href=\"http:\/\/meisterplanet.com\/images\/wordpress-entries\/power-puff-girls-anime-poster.jpg\">poster<\/a>, <a href=\"http:\/\/meisterplanet.com\/images\/wordpress-entries\/power-puff-girls-anime--the-girls.jpg\">promotional artwork<\/a> and preview video (<a href=\"http:\/\/meisterplanet.com\/images\/wordpress-entries\/power-puff-girls-anime-preview.jpg\">screenshots<\/a>) were made available to the public.<\/p>\n<p>The style for this new series seems to be more traditional, if not generic, for japanese anime.
