The comedy comes from over-the-top situations that still manage to be far more subtle in their execution than recent &#8220;spoof&#8221; films that seem to wait after every joke to make sure the audience gets it. The sound track, now on my to-buy list, works equally well in pushing the &#8220;hell yeah!&#8221; factor on most scenes through the roof.  <\/p>\n<p>Critics have been very supportive of the movie, with an average rating of 89% at <a href=\"http:\/\/www.rottentomatoes.com\/m\/hot_fuzz\/\">RottenTomatoes.com<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>Although the movie is only in limited release at 800 screens nation-wide, it&#8217;s worth the extra time driving to a movie theater showing it near you.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>I can&#8217;t recommend Hot Fuzz, the new movie staring Simon Pegg and Nick Frost, enough.
