The BBC’s official Doctor Who website now has a photo up of the 2006 redesign of the Cybermen.
The Cybermen were created in 1966 by Dr. Kit Pedler and Gerry Davis as villains in an episode of the long-running British science fiction series called “The Tenth Planet”. Now that the series has been brought back to much success by the BBC, it’s fitting that forty years later, one of the more popular bad-guy races gets a face lift for the television screens.
