Another day, another Fiero …
I had some fun driving down the main street throughout the city today, as I was driving my little white Fiero next to another 1984 Fiero, only red. The guy driving it seemed to be amused by the aspect of having two examples of twenty-year old automobile engineering driving in between the SUVs that packed the road today.
The nice thing about the Fiero is the number of looks you get from people you pass simply because most people have never seen one of these small cars before, and of those who have, they’re almost shocked you have it running. Though the vehicles are pretty rare these days, the local area seems to be somewhat more rich in Fiero ownership, as I’ve encountered ten different Fieros within fifteen miles of my house.
The japanese are really messed up …
From the “WTF?!” department:
Midori no Hibi is the story of Seiji, a high school delnquint who’s the local defender of the weak and fighter of bullies, yet still a perpetual loser in love.
However, on day he gets his secret wish for a girlfriend in the weirdest manner when he wakes up to find a girl grafted onto his right arm. Not just any girl, the shy-girl-next-door who has always had a crush on him but gone unnoticed for so long.
This is one of the story premises that sounds entirely too fucked up to ever work and yet for some dumb reason it does, and in the most comedic manner possible, at least from the two subtitled episodes I’ve found so far.
You can find bittorrents of the first two subtitled episodes here.
Friday afternoons …
It’s 72° and sunny outside. If I was still working downtown in Cleveland, this would be the best time of the year, driving home with the windows rolled down, radio blaring, sun out and an entire weekend to look forward to.
KKrieger, a FPS in 96 Kilobytes …
Pretty impressive for a game that’s only 96KB in size.
