Alan Keys is insane
From the Chicago Sun-Times:
U.S. Senate candidate Alan Keyes told a rally Saturday that incest was “inevitable†for children raised by gay couples because the children might not know both biological parents.
“If we do not know who the mother is, who the father is, without knowing all the brothers and sisters, incest becomes inevitable,†Keyes told the Marquette Park rally held to oppose same-sex marriages.
“Whether they mean it or not, that is what will happen. If you are masked from your knowing your biological parents, you are in danger of encountering brothers and sisters you have no knowledge of.â€
Across a road in the park, about 40 gay-rights proponents jeered. One said the frequently controversial Keyes, a Republican running against Democratic state Sen. Barack Obama, was trying to stir up voters.
Of course, candidate Keyes forgets that this would mean that children raised by heterosexual adoptive couples would also be at risk, so we should ban that as well.
USA Today highlighted the difference between the Obama and Keyes campaigns:
Barack Obama hobnobbed with comic Robin Williams and musician Stevie Wonder at the home of Playboy CEO Christie Hefner during a $2,500-a-plate fundraiser catered by Wolfgang Puck.
Alan Keyes crashed the New Trier Township Republican dinner after organizers refused to invite him to speak.
Desert Combat final
The Desert Combat 0.8 mod has been released for the game Battlefield 1942, the last of the updates due to the development team being offered work by the company to work on the upcoming Battlefield 2 release.
The new, smaller PS2

It looks like Sony has released a smaller version of their Playstation 2, this time with built-in ethernet and analog modem for online play.
The new unit retails for $149, the same price as the older, larger unit has, though one would expect price drops in the older hardware to clear out retail stockpiles.
Jon Stewart vs. Crossfire
video link (36MB, .wmv format)
The Daily Show’s host completely rips into both sides of political talk show punditry, and continues to prove that a comedy show based around fake news turns out to be the best source for real journalism in today’s media.
If you agree with what Stewart says during his appearance, I encourage you to leave feedback on Crossfire’s website saying so.
