IDE to USB Cable

I just ordered USBGeek.com‘s $35 IDE to USB Cable after reading a review for the tool here.
Data backups are a common task at my job, meaning that I would often be forced to remove a harddrive from a misbehaving machine and install it into a workstation with a DVD burner available. The ability to simply attach this cable and it’s matching power adapter to the drive and connecting that drive to any USB 2.0 port will save me considerable time and effort.
I’ll write something up about my experiences with the device when it arrives and I have a chance to use it in the work environment.
Image of the Day: Halloween Countdown Begins

Scrambled Eggbots, Go!
Following in the footsteps of the dancing, transforming Citreon car commercial, there’s now a breakfast transformer video available.
Code Purple
This is mostly an entry for the next time I need to find this information, but if you need to fix a Code Purple error on an HP computer, it’s a simple matter of removing the BIOS tattoo check in Windows XP.
