Little Bighorn Battlefield is known for being “Custer’s Last Stand”. Lesser know is New Rumley, Ohio, where the story of General George A. Custer begins. We came across the small Custer Memorial Park & Museum on a drive through northeast Ohio back country roads.
There’s something about the bitter cold that only heightens the stark beauty of the snow-covered land.
I decided to say goodbye to 2017 with a snowshoe hike through the Lake Erie Bluffs trails.

As I’ve returned to vinyl records, I find myself drawn to cover art I saw as a kid in my parent’s album collection. Buddha and the Chocolate Box (1974) by Cat Stevens sticks out in my mind due to the cartoon art on the read cover.
