I am personally not a smoker, and I’m generally in favor of laws that keep the air I have to breathe while working, eating or traveling clear from second-hand smoke. However, even I raised an eyebrow at a proposed law by New Jersey Assemblyman John McKeon to ban smoking in cars.
According to the bill, which will more than likely die well before it gets anywhere near a real vote, the proposed law would fine drivers $250 for smoking cigars, pipes and cigarettes while behind the wheel.
This thread on the Quarter to Three forums reminded me once again how much love I have for the Digital Illusions CE design team and their decision to curtail the regular abuse of the sniper class that most other modern combat FPS games seem to encourage.
I need to send them a Christmas card or something.

If you’re a WordPress user interested in taking advantage of the new Google Sitemaps service in order to improve your coverage in Google’s index, you may want to try Arne Brachhold’s Google Sitemap Generator plugin.
The plugin also has the ability to include other non-Wordpress pages on your website, making it a very useful tool. Installation was easy, consisting simply of adding it to your wp-content/plugins directory and activating it in your Plugins menu. About the only change I made to this process was creating a separate sitemap directory in order to provide the full read-write access the script needs, without changing the security permissions on my journal’s main directory.
