The Desert Combat 0.8 mod has been released for the game Battlefield 1942, the last of the updates due to the development team being offered work by the company to work on the upcoming Battlefield 2 release.

It looks like Sony has released a smaller version of their Playstation 2, this time with built-in ethernet and analog modem for online play.
The new unit retails for $149, the same price as the older, larger unit has, though one would expect price drops in the older hardware to clear out retail stockpiles.
